Employees State Insurance (ESI) is a self-financing social security and health insurance scheme for Indian workers. The fund is managed by the Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC). ESIC Return filing is compulsory for all the employees registered under the ESI. Employers must file the return on a half-yearly basis.
